Eventually, you come to the realization that you can't always blame other people for your mistakes. Having accountability for yourself is a part of maturity and this is what the song is about; growing up. The song can be applied into multiple facets of the expression (love, work, etc.)and features an AABA form. However, it is unique due to its 8 measure A sections and extended 12 measure B section.
