Are you ready to Be Happy? A veritable shapeshifter of a tune, boss man Steves latest morphs and melds, mixes and mutates, making merry mischief made for maximum musical momentum. Be Happy can be read in many different ways – suggestion, request, even instruction. In this instance, let us not over-analyse – what were dealing with is a multi-faceted humdinger of a house tune whose very raison detre is to induce a state of happiness. Steve deftly manipulates layer upon layer of elements into a euphoric and cohesive whole. Riffs tease then erupt, bass burbles and bounces, percussion cracks then takes a pause, ushering in a breakdown for the ages. Be Happy is by turns simple yet complex, busy then stripped back, heads down chugger meets hands in the air anthem. Ultimately it delivers big time on its titular promise – and for that we can all be thankful…and, indeed, happy. Team Selador – forever in the pursuit of happiness

Philipp Jung breathes new life into Bruce Leroys’ 'Liberdade' with a stunning remix for Get Physical Music.

Get Physical Music continues its classic remix series with a new interpretation of Bruce Leroys’ 2019 track 'Liberdade'. Following his recent rework of DJ T.’s 'Bateria', label co-founder Philipp Jung now revisits another standout from the catalog.

The original 'Liberdade' blended a moving vocal with deep bass and subtle percussion, quickly earning cult status and remix support from names like Ricardo Villalobos. Jung’s version brings in melodic synth layers and a more expansive arrangement. The track slowly builds into a dramatic, synth-led breakdown that allows the vocal to shine in new light.

This remix is part of Jung’s broader project revisiting key releases from Get Physical and its affiliates. A co- founder of both Get Physical and Kindisch and formerly one half of the duo M.A.N.D.Y., Jung now releases under his solo alias. His evolving sound, inspired by a transformative journey through Peru, blends deep grooves with melodic nuance and spiritual flair.

'Liberdade (Philipp Jung Remix)' offers a fresh, elegant update to a beloved track, connecting Brazilian rhythm with European electronic artistry in true Get Physical fashion.

For those who follow the ever-shifting contours of underground electronic music, few names resonate with as much assured vision as Yulia Niko. Having methodically teased the soundscape of her forthcoming compilation over the past months, she now unveils ‘Body Language Vol. 26’, a record that stands as both a statement of intent and an act of refined curation. Out now via Get Physical Music, the compilation maps an evolving terrain where emotion, texture and rhythm converge with an elegant restraint rarely achieved in club music today. 

Launched in 2005 by Berlin-based label Get Physical Music, the Body Language series has become one of dance music's most essential and enduring mix compilation series. Each edition serves as a curated journey, blending exclusive tracks and remixes that push the boundaries of house and techno. With contributions from luminaries like Booka Shade, WhoMadeWho and andhim, the series has consistently showcased a commitment to innovation and musical depth, influencing both DJs and listeners worldwide. Now, with Vol. 26, Yulia Niko continues this tradition, offering a fresh perspective while honoring the series' rich legacy. 

The project unfolds over eleven tracks, as she unveils a deftly balanced selection that plays like a nuanced narrative. It moves from the effervescent, sun-warmed piano house of ‘So In Love With You’, through to the nocturnal depths of ‘Bad Habits’ – a reverent yet freshly dark reimagination of Jenny Burton’s ’85 anthem, co-produced with Alfonso Muchacho – before arriving at the skeletal, hypnotic minimalism of ‘Just Just’; a deft reworking of a Rework classic.

Central to the compilation’s identity is the never-before-heard ‘Takina’, a collaboration with Alexey Union and Kinky Sound that crystallizes the collection’s ethos. Here, the trio build a layered soundscape that is at once muscular and atmospheric, weaving taut grooves with shimmering melodic detail and careful injections of ethnic instrumentation that add an organic, textured edge. ‘Takina’ is a moment of clarity - a track where the dancefloor’s kinetic energy is distilled through a lens of emotional depth and technical sophistication. It is a track that doesn’t shout but commands attention, embodying the subtle power that runs throughout the compilation.

‘Our Plastic family is ever growing from artists all over the world in true Plastic tradition. So today we premier ‘Inger’ Hailing from Warsaw, Poland, Inger’s journey into the world of progressive house began in the early 2000s, when his childhood friend handed him a DJ mix that would change everything: John Digweed’s Nighttown set, recorded live in Rotterdam. Featuring unforgettable tracks from artists like Cass & Slide, the mix lit a fire that’s been burning ever since.

Inger’s latest track, “Wawa,” is inspired by those formative clubbing years—specifically the sweat-soaked, euphoric nights spent raving in the heart of Warsaw. The original is a deep, sharp-edged groover that slowly unfolds with subtle tension and hypnotic textures.

The remix comes from James Harcourt, a standout figure in the global progressive scene and a source of inspiration to a whole generation of producers. His version takes “Wawa” into peak-time territory—a driving rework already supported by Sasha during his unforgettable B2B with John Digweed at Tofte Manor.

The package is completed with a Sean Harvey remix which is a chunky, dark-room groover that builds tension and atmosphere while delivering irresistible dancefloor energy in the true Sean Harvey spirit.

“Wawa” is a tribute to the past, made for the future.
