Utkarsh Varma and Sidharth Gupta are Delhi-based producers who began producing music together as Shoals in the beginning of 2017. Their latest release "Blue Tang" is an progressive trip-hop track created with the thought to find a meeting point for non-linear, noise driven grooves and ambient melodies. 
Since forming Shoals, the duo spent much of 2017 exploring different sonic possibilities and genres. During that time they independently released two EP’s, ‘Mad Turf’ and the ‘BossBattle Mixtape’ containing elements of Electronica, Trip Hop and Progressive Rock, with the emphasis shifting more to electronic sounds in our later works.
With a fluid creative process the duo's workflow is based on allowing the sounds and compositions to develop naturally and flow into one another.
