Amoss step into lively territories with their 2014 return to Horizons Music. This single sees a VIP rework of their 2013 collaboration with MCJC, Bleed It, originally featured on the Dreamthief 4 LP. This rework brings a complete change in groove and mood to the table, incorporating a more syncopated beat with a much deeper bass presence. 
Calokan is a throwback to the duo’s early Horizons Music releases, but with an added twist. The dramatic and textural intro paired with an array of odd field recordings makes for an intense atmosphere whilst maintaining a heavy underlying sub laden roll. Those that are familiar with Amoss will know all too well that the second drop always has something special in store, in this case a straight, two step beat smashes through the breakdown, adding a huge switch up to the overall energy of this track.

Andrey Plekhanov aka HoT is a DJ and Producer hailing from the western Russian city of Tula.

HoT originally started out in the world of production back in 1997 and by the year 2000 he was getting to grips with the techniques that would later take him on to become a household name in the worldwide Ragga Jungle movement.

It wouldn't be until the mid 00's that he would have his first notable track signing when his track 'Gas-Jet' was selected to be featured on the various artists mix cd 'Tonz Of Drumz Vol.4 - Mixed by DJK'. From this, his name rose to further notoriety when he gained regular support on DJ Gvozd's 'Pirate Station' show St. Petersburg's 'Record Radio' station and later releasing on the 'Pirate Station Records' label.

A few years passed before HoT got his truly big break when JungleXpeditions Records head honcho and true Ragga Jungle ambassador RCola signed 'Policeman & Soldiers' to his Canadian based imprint for his first outing on Vinyl, from there it was plain sailing as he continued with a string of strong releases on respected labels such as Run Tingz Recordings, Moonshine Recordings, Lion Heart Recordings, RIQ Records, Mashed Youth as well as having no less than 10 tracks out on his own digital imprint: Hot Sound Records.



The future continues to look bright for HoT as he has just been announced as the latest signing to Bristol UK based Jungle Clone Records.
