I proudly present my first release on BMSS Records, Monkey Tales. A collection of stories told from a timeless space, where magic meets curiosity to create an emotional pilgrimage. One that starts, like many other good tales, with Once Upon A Time… Moving through playful spaces and the night of the jungle you reach a sunrise, signalling your journeys end and an opportunity to reflect on your experience and it's personal meaning. In truth, you are the story teller, you always have been.

This set was carefully mixed together during the early days of my journey as a downtempo DJ, a time filled with endless exploration, continously listening, and heartfelt appreciation for all forms of chillout music - that somehow shaped one part of my musical journey.

I am deeply grateful for the artists who have shared their creativity and passion through their music. Their artistry has not only inspired me but also touched a lot of listeners.

A significant portion of this set features releases from Altar Records between 2009-2012. The opportunity to represent Altar Records through that era was a kind of privilege. I am thankful for the trust and encouragement extended, and I hope that this humble collection does some justice to both the artists, and the label itself.
