mfdoom remix I did for a competition.  yeah I know theres no intro, bad transitions and I ran out of time so I couldnt do cool drums or glitch stuff but gimme a break, this is the closest to finishing anything I've ever come

In the interest of saving my early work from yet another hard drive crash, I'm posting some here.  This was a competition entry for pure drum programming skills.  I'm pretty sure I won.  My 16 year-old self was much, much better at this than current me.

AF  Drum battle

This track is like me, it breaks all the rules.  Years of lazy prodding left it with a mess of carefully crafted ideas that dont quite fit together.  I left the peak for the VERY end, where nobody is going to wait to hear it.  Almost everything in it is synthesized from scratch, which means I may have worked harder on it than it was probably worth.  Its got some swang to it but its not a dancefloor slammer.  I dont know what it is or what its doing.  Im not sure it knows either.  Here's what I do know: I'm done working on it and calling it finished.  This is the first track of mine that has ever been "completed" (close enough).  I hope somebody out there enjoys it.
