decorating time (2022 promo mix)

YO! I am thrilled to present my 2023 promo mix. I haven't released many individual tunes over the past couple years while I've focused on writing, exploring, and defining my sound a little better. This mix is the culmination of a lot of work with new gear, new techniques, and new perspectives. 

I sometimes feel like I should be working a little harder to finish up tracks and release things more often, but there's something I really love about staying quiet for a while and then then dropping a large body of new work. The promo mix format always reminds me of discovering early promo mixes from some of my favorite artists, and the feeling of getting to go on a new sonic journey. I love hearing new tracks in the context of a mix, and it's a lot of fun to present material in this format. Additionally, I love that I can include a bunch of bootlegs and other samples I could never clear for distribution.

All that said. . . I'm really stoked on some of these tunes and I do think some of them will get a proper release. Leave a comment or shoot me a message if you hear something you like :) Thanks so much for listening, and I hope some of these songs resonate with you!

echoes - 2023 promo mix

This is a 30 minute mix of original music that I recorded for the @joestockcollective Winter Warmup Stream. 

I tried to showcase a lot of the tracks I've been working on over the winter - this mix features a blend of my guitar playing with vocals, organic textures, and a range of experimental electronic sounds. Thanks for listening  ❤️❤️❤️
