This is another song we started a while ago and didn't actually finish until recently. We didn't intend to release it in October; it just ended up being a fortunate coincidence.
I don't like giving over-detailed explanations of what the music we make is about because it somewhat defeats the purpose of expressing yourself through music anyways, but this is another song about the passage of time (albeit in a different context). I hope you enjoy it! I really love the vocal melody for the chorus.

OCTOBER

I love the crunchy texture of the guitar and the melody it plays in this song. When I was writing the lyrics and coming up with a vocal melody for the song, I was up in my head for ages trying to come up with something good that would do the rest of the song justice. I had to take a break for a few weeks cuz I had huge writer's block, but when I came back, I just wrote most of it all in one blast and I'm quite pleased with the end result. I think that in terms of vocal melody it might be the most varied song we released so far.
