As spotted by tech ethicist Ed Newton-Rex, the latest version of SoundCloud’s terms include a provision giving the platform permission to use uploaded content to “inform, train, [or] develop” AI.

I personally wish to give soundcloud a chance to repent of this new policy or I will be forced to remove all my music and depart from the platform, which is a shame as I've really enjoyed the platform and especially the community until this issue arose. If you agree that A.I. training is anti-artist then please share this track or post your own 1min silence and let them know it's just not on.
