Since so many people have been asking me for recorded sets lately, I figured it was about time I made a new mixtape! "Wanderlust" is chocked full of tunes from myself (including some unreleased business) as well as artists we've released on the label that I run, Gravitas Recordings. The vibe starts funky and gets hype before taking a turn for the chill side of the spectrum, but everything comes full circle by the end. There's around 40 tunes in 60 minutes, and available as a free download! Enjoy.

Andy Cruise has been involved in the rave scene for 50 percent of his life and his life is probably a lot longer than you think. Introduced to the House scene in the early 90’s Andy started  out as a Raver who couldn’t wait until next weekend to get his fix of good music and friendly people. As a result Andy started buying  both US & UK Garage religiously in 1996 and in 1998 got his first pair of  decks. 

Since then Andy has developed a style of rolling, high energy mixing and a unique talent for discovering new Bumpy, Deep, Sexy and Soulful  House. This resulted in many Deejay’s visiting the box to see what they were hearing, and comments like; “…..you were the first person I heard play that.” This Inspired him to create the House Metropolis brand which encouraged  Deejay’s to express themselves. This in turn lead to him being snapped up by Darren Holland  as deejay for the record label Baldeelox Recordings.

As time progressed Andy has had the privilege of playing the Soul Village Weekender and held down residencies at Club Reveal, Envy, and of course Smitten. Playing venues like Pacha, Area, Egg, Hidden, Glasshouse, Browns, Plan B, Mass and Rouge and throwing down beats alongside the likes of  the legendary Paul Trouble Anderson, Fanatix (BBE), Eddie Leader (Hudd Traxx), Rob Pearson (Evasive), and House Pioneer Colin Dale.  

Now Andy has revamped his Funkatron Party in 2011 so keep em peeled for forthcoming dates
