In the mid-track breakdown a synth lead is introduced that builds to the drop and from there we are off to the races with glitches, reversed synth tones, and a galloping bassline that is set to keep the dance floor hopping.

Silhouette Sessions - Vol.1

Following the success of his last release, French psy-breaks producer MARTOPETER returns to Broken Robot with a brand new EP. This one feature three new original tracks, showcasing Martopeter's trademark dark, twisted psy-breaks sound. Spanish breaks maestro TOO DUSTY steps up and delivers a slamming remix of the title track Irony. All in all, this package equals pure dancefloor devastation!

The sixth TEK release arrives to deliver unrest to the dancefloors with three big names.
TOO DUSTY arrives to fully lobotomize with his remix. Inhumane syncopated basses that rip matter into void. Clockwork precise FX's and a subtle dark melody drive the track into a small breakdown that advances into a violent beat which shoots lasers straight into the pineal gland. The big breakdown constructs a cathedral reverb, leaving you between dimensions. Finally, essences are transfigured with the drop that crunches away with extreme force, yet extreme precision.

Here we go with a our landmark 50th release and to celebrate this, we come full circle with Monk3ylogic who gave us our 1st release for the label back in 2010
The Monk3y boys have launched 'Hit the Limit' at us now, which is a multi-layered Tech-Funk monster , dripping with reverb and percussive grooves.

MTG is proud to bring you this expertly crafted mind meld into the world of the ever expanding sub genre of proggy psybreaks. Its the direct result from a meeting of the 4 minds of the worlds most forward thinking artists, all of whom have a deep commitment to exploring the depths of cutting edge psychedelica!

Our featured artist is Internationally renowned DJ\ Producer Andy Faze. 

Andy is recognized as one of the genres greatest innovators, and with 15 years on the scene, and a massive discography, he has earned a reputation for being one of psybreaks most influential contributors. Andy gets things rolling in fine psy tradition with some exclusive sounds, including some of his own highly acclaimed productions. Andy, btw, is a long time veteran here at MTG and a highly valued VIP member.

Mixing in 2nd, MTG most humbly welcomes "Throw3r" (James) to the group. James is a much talked about enigma who is as unpretentious as he is gifted. His ability to intuit what the future might hold has taken him down new pathways, where psybreaks meets techno meets proggy and all points inbetween. We very much look forward to hearing more from this eclectic artist. 

Mixing in third and Contributing 5 original productions to the project, is legendary DJ-Producer/ Graphic artist Parallax Breakz. Considered to be one of the genres most revered producers, he is globally recognized for his distinctive style, and has had an unquantifyable influence for a number of years in the history of this evolving genre. He is also a much respected graphic artist, and the one to thank for the cover art. Brilliant job Alex! Cheers!! 

Finally is long time veteran /VIP member Corcyra, tying things up with a stunning closing segment that expertly capitulates the beauty inherant in the unique concept of collaborating as a team. Her keen intelligence superior skills are quickly earning her massive respect in the scene, and her success at merging genres in her quest to bring fresh sounds to the fore, makes her an asset to the industry.

Dudes got such an awesome style and i'd been wanting to remix one of his for ages before he sent the original through, such a cool tune with a wicked flow. I tried to replicate that same sort of flow but with a slightly more dubby, almost down tempo flavour to it before it descended into chaos ;)

Andy Tappin is a DJ, Producer, Scientist and avid electronic music lover of over 15 years on the scene. Spinning everything from House, Techno & Trance, Andy has honed his craft into Breakbeat! Over the last 5 years Andy has established himself as a respected producer & DJ in the scene with over 50 releases, on more than 15 international, leading & influential record labels.

His progressive style and consistant slick production with-in the modern day Psybreaks sound, has earned him great respect and many fans. Many of Andy's releases have reached the top 100 charts in all major download stores and many of them reaching the top 50!

Andy has performed at various clubs and festivals here in the UK, across Europe, and has graced the same stages and nights with legendary acts such as - Eat Static, Cosmosis, The Orb, Green Nuns of the Revolution, System 7, Liquid Ross, Astralasia, Transglobal Underground, OOOD, Hedflux and Guadi to name a few. 

He helps run Sub Element Recordings, which was voted best new label in 2014 at - Breakspoll (The International Breakbeat Awards). Andy was also nominated for an award in 2013 along with DJ Fastbinder for best radio show (Future Breakz Live). Andy now runs his own Psybreaks podcast (Elements), which has gained over 20,000 subscribers (in just 18 months), welcomed massive support, and is growing each day!
