This was a submission for university based on African American Influences which will be developed for a longer song. I wrote it about a staggeringly conceited person I met recently. This mix is not fantastic but I haven't quite 'mastered' this yet!! ;)

This song was written as a university project for Manchester Metropolitan University focusing on the injustice of how women can be treated in the music industry!

Injustice

This song was written in the style of 1970's prog rock, mainly pertaining to Genesis (trick of the Tail) and Yes (Tales of Topographic Oceans. Please enjoy the changing time signatures and especially the end part!!
The story is an idea based off the original. What if Juan Ponce de Léon had chosen to take the glory of finding the fountain for himself and was cursed as a result?

I wouldn't say this is my greatest songwriting as I find it difficult to write in this structure but hey! Worth a shot at least!
