Thrill Is Gone

Melbourne based 'Andy Phillips & The Cadillac Walk', perform classic blues based retro rock, which they deliver in a unique way that can only be described as ‘Cadillac Walk style’. Their ability to take the audience from mellow bourbon-soaked blues numbers right through to the shake it up and rock it out songs and everything in between, leave audiences deeply satisfied, yet wanting more.
Andy Phillips (guitar/vocals) has gained the well deserved reputation for being a talented and tasteful guitarist, his blend of driving rhythms, tasty riffs and dynamic sequences mesmerise and satisfy even the most discerning of listeners. Peter Hayden (drums) known widely as a seriously talented drummer, keeps the band driving, tight and solid, with tasty dynamics and feature solos and Glenn Sharp (bass/back up vocals) a virtuosic musician, plays bass like he is from another Universe. This incredible trio of talented works tightly together on stage to deliver a musically incredible, energetic & entertaining show.
Recent highlights of their career include jamming in Austin, Texas with Andy on a guitar previously owned by Stevie Ray Vaughan at legendary venues such as Antones, Maggie Mays and Friends on 6th St. Plus a host of festivals to their name, this is a band to watch! See them gigging every weekend all over Melbourne and surrounding suburbs. The band also regularly tours interstate and to NZ.
