The incentive for making this mix was having a track published for the first time: a remix for Broken Chair. So I set myself a goal to record a mix with the track in, create it as a studio mix, and maybe throw some other edits and things in there.

The basic structure of the mix is programmed in Ableton across 4 different tracks, with extra loops triggered separately. All the tracks are output to independent channels on a DJ mixer, with all the blends, transitions, EQ, levels, FX, loops, etc made on the mixer, adding a little of its own flavour. And that's what makes it hybrid: programmed / studio mix, with hands on mixing, FX etc. Lot of fun!

Rooted in the spiritual and sonic depths of organic house, Devaloka returns to Amulanga with a stirring 3-track EP that invites listeners on a transformative journey through rhythm, ritual, and resonance. Known for weaving tribal textures with deep, emotive grooves, Devaloka once again proves her mastery in crafting tracks that are both grounded and transcendent.

The EP’s centerpiece is a much-anticipated collaboration with Ventt, founder of Amulanga, whose refined progressive sensibility adds a hypnotic pulse to Devaloka’s earthy foundation. Together, they deliver a slow-burning dancefloor gem—rich with organic percussion, cinematic swells, and a tension that unfolds with patient power.

Each track stands as a meditation in movement. From the opening track’s ceremonial cadence and fluid instrumentation to the closing cut’s introspective depth, this release radiates both intention and atmosphere. Designed for sunrise sessions and late-night rituals alike, it’s an EP that lingers long after the final beat fades.

Windowlicker (Aubrey Fry & abandoned technologies Interpretation

Booted up by the rave scene in the 90s, I taught myself basic production on borrowed equipment from my school, with no real clue what I was doing (I'd like to think that's changed a little bit at least). The technology and energy of the time grabbed me completely, and I built a love for driving, energetic, hypnotic, and uplifting music ranging across Trance, Goa, and Progressive House; that was it for me. Fast forward a few years and I DJ'd at events along the South Coast, performing at legendary venues such as the Opera House (Slinky) in Bournemouth, and Turnmills in London, alongside artists such as Andy Moor, Rob Tissera, Stoneface & Terminal, Mike Foyle, and Dav Gomrass. I hosted an online radio show in the early days of internet radio, before taking a break from all things music when business and family took over my life.

Now, I’m back into producing and DJ'ing, channeling myself into progressive sounds. My tastes have developed over time to bridge the gap between past and present, euphoric and deep. I hope that comes across in what I make and play.
