Toxic was sent a beat pack by Fitzy beats and once he heard the first 10 seconds of the track, he sat down, and recorded this one take, freestyle. After he was done he made sure there were no edits, and released as is.

Thirty Eight is an Experimental track compared to Toxic's original sound tying to the push to create a more Alternative Hip-Hop Image. Although there is a handful of unreleased songs that showcase this transition, This is the first to be released. Thirty Eight focuses on a troubled relationship and a lifestyle that is difficult to maintain.
