Andrew Spurling grew in up in Adelaide South Australia, and at the age of 24, discoverd electronic music, from the likes of Sasha, Digweed, Carl Cox & came across Adelaide's coolest lounge bar at the time, BARFINA. Then discovered RISE.

In doing so ... through the owner, JACK/Rob Colangelo, he was introduced to their resident DJ, Darren Banderia, who I would often sit with, watch his skills & listen to some of the best house records of that era.

To this day ... Years later ... Darren B, is still one of the coolest DJ's on the planet, even though recently retired & NOW focusing on bigger & better projects with his family business.

Andy Spurs* is typically focused on techno these days & Hard House, however on occasions, he does mix House & Deep House.

Orginally tutored by one of Brisbane's best & electronic pioneers, DJ Matt Kitshon.  He then briefly was under the watchful eye of Simon Batchelor, aka 'DJ Batch' at the Adelaide Audio Institute.
