Sitting On Top Of The World.

My name is Andy Yelen and I am a Acoustic Guitar player, born and raised in Co. Kerry, Ireland.
 
I have been playing guitar for almost 15 year's now in which I have become utterly absorbed in the incredible complexities and endless potential that is possible on this mysterious instrument.
 
In the years since I began playing I have experimented with styles stretching from Blues and Rock 'n' Roll to Pop, Folk, Reggae and Country and have been involved in numerous gigs both solo and accompaniment, supporting artists such as Ocean Colour Scene in the INEC Killarney. 
 
In 2007 I received a diploma in music from BIMM Brighton and am currently completing an Hons Bachelor Degree in Commercial Modern Music form Dublin Institute of Technology. 
 
When people think of the Acoustic Guitar they tend to view it as somewhat of an accompaniment for its cousin the Electric Guitar, this is not true. I aim to elevate the Acoustic Guitar to the forefront of what makes a piece of music special.
