Next up for the latest in our mix series is London based Bay (@bay_zilla), providing us with a two hour musical masterclass in all things underground.

Bay born and based in London, the Deejay duo discovered their passion for music early in life and began their musical journey at 12 and 13 years of age. Currently, the dynamic duo is signed to Cozen Records & Kadena where they produce music genres like underground minimal and deep house music.
 
Growing up in dubstep and house music background, one of the deejays levels up the hype while the other who classically trained pianist, drums and bass is the ultimate vibe! The fantastic duo continue to shape and thrive in the music industry through outstanding talent as they play a mixture of old and new secret music.
 
Being residents of Blundell Studios and Kadena, the duo is taking music to another level by playing in festivals and international clubs as deejays. Until now, they are Deejays in various clubs around the world as their blend of backgrounds offers a variety and unique touch in the music quality they play.
 
The clubbing community is still buzzing to hear timeless music from the dynamic duo who are up to the noble task of entertaining listeners the world over.

Since I can't find any spare 'producing' time at all at the moment I decided to finish the most promising and advanced. deap blue arabica was my first catch. I like it at the moment and I hope, the vocal timings don't seem to random. The time it took for placing the vocals and instrumentals was as short as possible and as long as necessary to make it work. In order to make it as perfect as possible that would be propably 9-10 times the time.

Andy Caruso is a singer, DJ and producer born in Rome, Italy, and based in Hackney (London, UK). His DJ career kickstarted in 2019 thanks to his show, Morning Pipes, on Threads Radio - an independent radio station in North London. He’s a fan of both old-school and contemporary grooves, with a specific focus on Disco Funk, Electro House and Nu-Disco. Andy’s style of DJing is quite unique, fusing disco, house, deep house, balearic and funk while improvising melodies on the mic with his soulful voice. As a DJ he’s quickly gaining recognition within the music industry, having already shared the stage with industry’s greats such as Felipe Gordon, Laurence Guy, Gome, Soos, Wallace and Rubinskee. His first single "Did you see my baby?“ went out independently on 28/10/2022 and was released again for Super Spicy Records on 28/4/2023. The track's ironic lyrics are inspired by the Italian disco icon Pino D'Angiò. In 2023 comes back with "Lily", as his debut for MB Disco. The tune is an uplifting Disco winner, featuring his stunning voice timbre in the verses and melodic adlibs on the chorus.   Lily is a funloving song, where Caruso’s powerful vocals are backed by a funky bassline and classy keys.
