I wrote this song as a tribute to Oasis after witnessing the spectacle of Oasis Live25 at Murrayfield and watching fans’ videos thereafter. It struck me how amazing it was for a band to have such an impact and swell the hearts of ordinary people, filling their lives with absolute, unconditional love and joy. We laughed, cried, screamed and dreamed through the power of your music. So, this song is a nod to the band for making every single Oasis fan feel those feelings, and it’s a massive thank you for making all of us part of the band. You truly are familiar to millions.

I've loved this song since it was released (8 months after I was born) and I used to listen to it on an old record player growing up. I have always wanted to record a version of my own and the current 'lockdown' has allowed me to do so, although it's taken me almost 50 years to get there. Anyway, here it is. I hope you enjoy.
