Listen To Me is not about rebellion for rebellion’s sake—it’s about reclaiming your voice after being spoken over for too long. It’s honest, raw, and a little uncomfortable. Because the truth usually is.

I wrote this as a reflection of my own experience—caught between expectations, judgments, and pressures.
This is what it sounds like when you decide to speak anyway. To speak up, not out.

I hope you take a moment. Let it play. And maybe this time, really listen.

This song came from a moment when I couldn’t get a word in.
Courtrooms, calls, conversations—people saying listen to me like I wasn’t already trying.

This one’s for all the times I stayed quiet and got trampled.
And also for that lawyer—Frank—who told me to listen like I wasn’t human.

This one’s for anyone who’s ever felt boxed in by contracts, expectations, or names that never quite fit. The sound is stripped down, a little worn, and meant to breathe. Think Wallflowers, not walls. Think James Taylor with mud on his boots.

This piece was inspired by a song written by Angelo Gabrielli, titled "Cerco te" 

When I first heard it, the phrase "cerco te" sounded like “chair-co-tay” to my English ears—and I imagined someone offering a chair, quietly saying, “Sit. Let’s talk.”

Of course, it doesn’t mean that—it means “I’m looking for you.” That moment of misunderstanding became the spark for this track.

Though I don’t speak Italian, I do speak Spanish and English, and I wanted to explore how sound moves between languages—how meaning can be felt, even when it isn’t fully understood. 

This is my attempt to create an affair with sound—blending three languages and leaning into what they offer sonically, emotionally, and spiritually.

I used AI to shape the sound, the visuals, and the voice. It’s not perfect—but it’s honest.
