Andycode is band from Portugal assumed as somewhere between electronic music, alternative rock and post-rock style. The sound is characterised by soft textures contrasted with strong dissonances, dense atmospheres, pulsating rhythms and sub-bass frequencies.

The project began in 2011 by the hands of the portuguese musician, multi-instrumentalist and music producer André G. Mendes with the release of the album "The other side of the ᴙoᴙᴙim" and the videoclip for the single "The Glare". It was later on 2012 that Andycode was born as a band. During this period until now Andycode have been working and growing as a band and now for the first time it's coming out from the studio and into the stage. The upcoming album "Karman Line" marks a begin of Andycode. 

"Here Now" is a story about crossing the desert , something that all of us at least once in our lives , have done or will do one day. It is a search for inner-self, an own way , a jump without a hammock , a journey into the unknown , a search for inner comfort , reinvention , discovery . It is a comforting whisper from a character and his ego an their journey along the path . A reminder that we are never truly alone and that can never be well with anyone if we are not good with ourselves . In the end, it's not where we've got , but the path we've traveled.

Andycode is the sonic alter ego of songwriter, composer, and producer André G. Mendes. Electronica, atmospheric soundscapes blended with organic rock, speaking to the dreamers, the thinkers, and the quietly restless. Each piece is a fragment of a larger code, an invitation to decode meaning through sound. The band took shape in late 2011, following the release of the debut album “The Other Side of the Mirror,” and was later joined by Ricardo Gonçalves, Ricardo Leal, Eliana Fernandes and Tim Chernov.
