Whilst living in my home by the sea in 2010 i went into a crazy studio mode! I was making a lot of music/albums and felt i really had a lot of emotions to express. One day i saw on f.b that Jaidene Veda from Canada was staying with a friend in London. I'd heard her voice on a song a song and really liked it, so i reached out and asked her if she fancied a visit to Devon. She came for a few days and we made The Rurals song 'Into Life'. I suggested she came back to do some more recording, as i had started writing a soul album, she was keen! so she came and stayed for a few weeks to write and record some vocals on the project/album that ended up being 'COMPTON -COMPTON's Soul'. I remember every part of this album coming together well, and when Jaidene came and stayed it was one of the coldest ever Novembers! It took me a long while to complete this album, as i was hoping it was gonna blow up, i even mastered the album 3 times!! 
This is one of my fave songs from the album (music made by myself, and with Pete Morris on the Rhodes).The COMPTON project also featured vocalists Diviniti, Ladybird, and Kafele. This has to be one of the best albums i've produced!

Deli’s love of music began at an early age playing his junior school disco in the mid 70’s, he helped at a family friends local record shop at age 9 then things progressed the next level when he moved to Kingston, Jamaica in 1977.

It was only a few years later that Deli-G helped start one of Bristol’s hottest pirate radio stations (B.A.D. Radio)! Playing a wide of range of American dance music, his radio show rose to bigger and bigger things and he soon started his own regular night at the Players Night Club in Bath along with his close friend D.J Lynx (from the ground-breaking collaboration Smith & Mighty Productions). This is when Deli started to really make a name for himself in the club scene.

Deli’s music mix show “The Touch” was launched in 1991 and this gave him 100% control of the music on the new ‘Galaxy’ 97.2fm show based in Bristol (which was predominantly an urban and dance music radio station). With the original contract stating 6 months when it expired; ‘Galaxy’ decided to keep the programme.

In recent years Deli has continued to spread the gospel of real house music and by linking up with former ‘Roasted’ partner in crime DJ Ben Daley and notorious God Son of Soulful House, DJ and Producer Sean McCabe; collectively formed the Bristol based basis of the Good Vibrations parties. With DJ royalty such as: Joey Negro, CJ Mackintosh, The Legendary Late Great Paul Trouble Anderson and Kenny Dope all topping the bill.

Good Vibrations parties saw the return of a by gone era of true house music for real music lovers. Playing latest soulful dance grooves with one the UK’s hottest producers Sean McCabe’s digital sessions at The Plough Inn Bristol to this day.

Continuing the textures series. Something that came out of nothing. I've been sitting on this lovely coastal image for while. Textures 003 starts with some introspective deepness and then we get on the groovy loops. It's a short, but oh so sweet mix.  The picture , Suffolk coast in early January inspired the mix. A selection of tunes with thoughtful moments. A lovely walking mix. Another one for your headphones. Image cropped to tease. No manipulation. Enjoy the view. Enjoy the music.

Javier Garin is an argentinean DJ and passionate vinyl collector whose journey with music and DJing began in the mid-1980s. He started out working in radio stations in the Buenos Aires suburbs alongside renowned broadcaster Diego Poso, and by the early 1990s, he was already performing in clubs like the legendary Mirage in El Palomar.

After taking a break to complete his studies and become a certified public accountant, he returned to music in 1997, becoming a resident DJ for five years in a nightclub in Miramar. In 2003, he moved to El Calafate, where he quickly became a pioneer of the local electronic scene. He launched a party series at The Grouse, blending funk, disco, synth pop, and house, and by 2004, hosted the city's first ever electronic music event, a cycle that ran for four years.

Between 2004 and 2008, he also curated a monthly event at Shackleton Lounge, with a music style geared toward the influx of international tourists. In 2010, he founded House Me, a weekly Wednesday night series at Don Diego de la Noche, known for its 5-hour extended sets. By 2016, House Me became a traveling event, featuring top national artists such as Carlos Alfonsín, Dee Jason, Dr. Trincado, Facu Carri, Tato Piatti, and Manuel Sahagún.

Since the pandemic, Javier has also turned his focus to music production, collaborating with local DJs and musicians from El Calafate. His career reflects a deep dedication to vinyl culture, musical diversity, and building community through sound.

Deeply prolific Bristol-based house connoisseur Andy Compton has released over 50 albums and over 200 EPs (either under his own name or as part of his legendary group The Rurals, COMPTON or L.A.M.P, Blue Dream) on his essential Peng label and imprints like Motown, Universal, EMI, Sony, Ralf GUM’s GOGO Music, Chicago’s LARGE Music, Seasons, Viva, Hed Kandi and many others.
South Africa has embraced Andy's deep house sounds, and because of his popularity over there, and albums released via EMI, SONY, WEA, and now Universal. He has done over 20 South African tours in the past 10 years.
Since discovering house music in the early ‘90s Compton has released a dazzling array of music and worked with an army of artists. He’s been featured on the cover of the seminal DJ Magazine and had his music used in TV show Six Feet Under, while tunes like “Sweeter Sounds” have become bona fide anthems at spots like NY’s Shelter. He has worked with top class vocalists Celestine, Marie Tweek, Diviniti, Kafele, Rowan, Ladybird, Sabrina Chyld and many others!
Compton's Dj skills have turned heads and twisted bodies worldwide, with his thumping brew of electronic beats swathed in coolly-crafted melodies, with Peng becoming one of the premiere labels on the planet, garnering support from house big-hitters like Louie Vega, Larry Heard, Mark Farina and Osunlade (to name a few).
All this has solidified Compton’s reputation as one of the most respected house music players on the planet.
