My name is XAVIER, I'm from Brazil and a long time music lover.
When I prepare a set, I look for sounds that feel timeless and a little
unexpected.
I think I have an ear for both the unusual and the classic. I like to mix — from
tropical rhythms to deeper grooves — and I don’t worry too much about
defining genres.
I'm kind of into the idea that anything goes.
I’m guided by texture, tone, and a certain strangeness. More than fitting into
styles, I try to create something that sounds like me. Something authentic.
Something that reflects that moment in time musically for me, things I've
been listening lately, music I've saved, discovered and I go from there.
I often imagine what kind of setting that set could be played in — a hot
afternoon, a lit-up dance floor, a landscape I haven’t found yet.

WiscoJazz-Cast: Episode 237 [DOWNTEMPO]

Once again as we head into Autumn, nature's colours around us begin to change. Every year i try and capture the feelings with some of the music i have been collecting, music that speaks (to me at least) to the mood of the season. 
The sun is lower in the sky, the temperature begins to drop, and the rain begins to fall. Sometimes we need to take time out and enjoy it, whether that be a walk in the forest on fallen leaves, or just heating up the house and looking out at the rain falling onto the windows.

So, our friend (assuming he really is our friend) is no longer alone at home. The work week is over, it’s been a hard one. Maybe for both of them: for him, and for the woman now leaning out the window. There’s a touch of unease in the air, and it’s not necessarily connected to how things are going between them. Maybe something is about to happen. Or maybe not. The only sure thing is that they’re not interested in finding out.

This is the fourth in a series of eight easy, acoustic, rather short, and deliberately inconclusive tracks, assembled by combining new ideas with reworked older material, adding parts and sounds along the way. This time I struggled to make it to the end, adding and removing, changing and restoring and working to the mix. I probably messed things up a bit (thirty recorded tracks, twenty of them muted...), but never mind.
