I had most of this song done prior to contacting Liquid Universe about working on it. I hadn't spoken to him much since we did Daylight so I wanted to make sure I had something substantial to send him to help convince him. Thankfully he agreed.

Silent Skies

Silent Skies (Feat. Liquid Universe)

"Dejected" is more than just a sad song; it is a musical representation of resignation and the struggle to find light in the darkness. He explores the moments when you feel overwhelmed by failures or disappointments and your motivation wanes. The music tries to reflect these inner states, be it through melancholic melodies, restrained instrumentation or expressive vocals.
