A little piece I made from sound recordings from a summer holiday in Norfolk. I sang in a castle, I recorded chickens, geese and playground equipment.

A Fowl Beat

BBC Radio Shropshire kindly invited me to perform an improvised song live on air, based on suggestions of words and topics which included, "filigree", "chimney", "pheasant", "Mount Aconcangua" and "the decline of the Lowestoft fishing trade in the 20th Century". 

This was the result.

The Grind

Went on a found-sound gathering trip to three locations around the site of the battle of Shrewsbury:
- an engineering playground (lots of plastic pipes!)
- a falconry centre
- a church

This track exclusively uses sounds from those three locations.
