Notes about the song: The lead singer of one of my favorite bands, Caamp, started a "side project" to which he releases songs under the artist name Sumbuck. Both Caamp and Sumbuck are some of my favorites artists to cover, likely because most of them involve simple chord progressions. I learned how to play the song "Mckenzie" a while back and decided instead of covering it I would keep most of the musical parts of the song and rewrite the lyrics. I wanted to include a bit of a tribute to my influences as seen in the last verse. In this verse "Camped" is in reference to the band Caamp. "Lucky" references the album the song "Mckenzie" is on. And "Sumbucks" is intentionally misspelled to reference the artist Sumbuck.
