My second instrumental chill-hop EP, 'grey'.

I wrote these tracks to cope with a difficult period. Through somber instrumentation and soft beats, 'grey' tells the story of recovering from the plaguing thoughts of anxiety - something that affects me on a frequent basis. 

I know mental health is a big topic for many,  so I want to share this EP for those who in particular may be dealing with negative emotions. Whether it's a rough patch, stress from study or work, or just to relax after a long day, I hope these songs resonate with you.

Scope

I was recently inspired on my trip to Bali where I stayed in a hotel along Sanur beach!

Every morning I would come to the same spot with my breakfast, surrounded by the sound of traditional bamboo flute music and crashing waves.

This song opens with a sample of these beautiful sounds that create the frame for the entire track. In it, I wanted to capture the view of the sunrise along the beach, through the driving guitars and the soothing ambience.

I hope you enjoy :)

This piece is one of my more experimental songs that I'd been working on for a while. To me it captures the feeling of being lost, stranded in a place that feels alien.
