Get ready for some serious DEEPNESS. Based in the city of St. Gallen, high up amid the Alps of eastern Switzerland, Austrian-born Alessandro Crimi delivers a 1-hour transmission of the kind of techno you'd imagine more likely to have eminated from somewhere in the depths of the Mariana Trench in an all-vinyl mix of exquisite taste.

With his distinctive sound of dub-infused house and techno that is rich in spacey pads, echoey chords, sinuous melodic structures and discerning beats, he is often found skirting along the territorial borders of quintessential Dub Techno stylings. Alessandro has made a name for himself with his strong productions and remixes and also his gigs at prestigious venues including: Harry Klein Club in Munich; Club Home in Amsterdam; Rohstofflager in Zurich and Macarena Club in Barcelona, to name a few. He is hailed as a true specialist for playing warm-up sets, which requires a delicate touch and a good mind for developing a pathway through records to build the energy levels steadily.

Last year Alessandro set up vinyl label Waehlscheibe, that along with the help of his friends he has now driven to the cusp of it's 4th release - we have heard the samples and are sure it will make some big waves! XEED alias Fabian Schinzel, 1987 im Zürcher Oberland geboren und aufgewachsen, kam schon in früher Kindheit mit elektronischer Tanzmusik in Berührung. Plattenspieler und Mixer zogen den perfektionistischen Vinyl-Enthusiasten seit jeher in ihren Bann. Auf der Basis einer inzwischen sehr umfangreichen Schallplattensammlung sorgt XEED mit seinen sorgfältig sortierten Cases sowohl in dunklen Clubs und dreckigen Kellern als auch unter freiem Himmel für einen abwechslungsreichen Groove und mitreissenden Flow.

Neben Dub Techno spielt Deep House in seinen Sets eine wichtige Rolle. Hin und wieder dürfen auch einige dunklere Techno Scheiben eine Runde drehen. Was zählt, ist Qualität und Tiefgang – wichtige Zutaten sind aber auch eine gewisse Melancholie und auf’s Nötigste reduzierte Rhythmen.

Parallel zum DJ'ing produziert XEED unter seinem bürgerlichen Namen Fabian Schinzel. Sein erstes Release „Landing EP“ ist 2012 auf dem Label Gleichtakt erschienen.

XEED aka Fabian Schinzel, born 1987 in Switzerland, had his first contact with electronic music already in his early childhood. Turntables and mixer attracted the perfectionistic vinyl enthusiast since the first touch.

On the basis of a now very extensive record collection XEED creates with his carefully sorted record case smooth flowing and authentic sets in dark clubs and filthy cellars as well as open air.

In addition to Dub Techno, Deep House also plays an important role in his sets. Every now and then he might also spin some darker techno discs. What matters is quality and depth - but key ingredients are also a certain melancholy and stripped down to bare essentials rhythms.

Besides DJ'ing, XEED also produces under his real name Fabian Schinzel. His first release "Landing EP" was published 2012 on the label Gleichtakt.
