PAREIDOLIA008 / Crishi aka Dothedu - Going Nowehere Ep

As we move through the year, the time comes for another addition to the Selected Timbres guest to showcase the goods. This month I had the pleasure of welcoming co-owner of D.KO Records, Flabaire. Through my exploration of the musical landscape I discovered the Parisian artist and his label and immediately fell in love. Not only his he producing top tier deep house tunes, he recently started a band called Aboukir which focuses on the more somber melodies in alternative styles (WHICH I LOVE).

Every time I've had any interaction with Flabaire, there was nothing but mutual respect and kindness shared between us, and I've really loved supporting his music and the label. With this in mind, I was super happy to have him on as a guest for my series, and as always, feel free to ask for any ID's in the comments! Happy listening :)

ISM-015 Dubbyman - Alpha Transmissions EP

You always can guarantee with a release from Dubbyman that not only will you get music with gorgeous depth and warmth, but also an EP that is versatile and generous as he often includes other musicians and producers in his projects. The Alpha Transmissions EP a long-awaited project is no exception with Dubbyman bringing his deep house and laid-back breakbeat style to Inner Shift Music. To our delight it also features label owners Brad P and Rai Scott. We last saw Dubbyman (along with Above Smoke) on Inner Shift on remix duties for the .Mahal. Space Space release where Inner Shift and Deep Explorer teamed up for 'the joint venture'. This versatile EP with its mix of deep house and downtempo breakbeat tracks includes contributions from talented musicians, collaboration, and remixes. 

As a bonus there are also two additional remixes of the A2 track 'In the Space' from label owners Brad P and Rai Scott respectively that are available as digital bonus tracks. If you buy the EP from the label’s website or Bandcamp page, the full digital EP with the two extra tracks is included.

Tilman teaches us how to fly. His Atmospheric Mix of Marc Brauners „The Feeling“ is a 90s shaker and takes you straight to the stars - What a feeling, what a rocket!
