A little more than 2 years ago, labelhead honchos Paul & Dave released their “Nobody is Anywhere EP” on their own imprint Dynamic Reflection. It was a statement about the status quo in the techno scene back then, where many artists didn’t know which way to go. Ironically enough, the contrary is very true as we speak.  

 The “Anybody is Nowhere EP” responds to their previous work and reflects the uncomfortable time we are currently living in, driven by uncertainty. Even though these are not the happiest thoughts, the track titles show that there is hope left. “Emergence” is a very seductive but psychedelic trip towards “Discharge”, which feels like Abstract Division discharges themselves completely. The last track, “Polarise” points out the current divided society, which sets some doubtful thoughts about the future.  

Scandinavian rebel and Northern Electronics patron Anthony Linell provides his interpretation of the track “Emergence” and delivers a distinctive remix as only he can.

.defaultbox is back with the well done EP „Rise“ by label head Patrick himself under his new alias 10.000 BC. The EP is breaking boundaries and forming connections between ambient and timeless dub techno grooves. The EP opens with „7am“ which is an interplay of nature sounds, warm pads and breakbeats. „2pm“ is a colorful and warm journey into deep space. The EP closes with „3am“ which shows the tension between the organic warmth and uplifting energy of a dance floor track, followed by a heavy and thundery remix by the very talented Portuguese DJ and producer Robert Hoff.

Deep, driving, hypnotizing and psychedelic are just some of the ways Bangalore-born artist Anejath portrays the techno he has been creating. With each new exploration as technical as the next he disperses a reflection of his eclectic musical upbringing and his foundation in sound design combined with the prowess of a seasoned producer.

Anejath is very much an underground DJ first-and-foremost, aided in no small part by his vast musical knowledge and the ability to play across a wide spectrum of techno. The soundscapes he creates oscillate between deep / atmospheric techno and raw hypnotic grooves. Anejath brings a precise and groovy flow that enchants the dance floor by the embodiment of old school electronic music influences forged with a modern approach.


His philosophy is shaped by the simple yet profound ability of sound to communicate by vibrating air molecules -- one that has allowed his music to reach the shores of varied labels such as Josh Wink's Ovum to Indian mainstay Qilla Records. Fuelled by his genuine love of the music, there’s no doubt that Anejath will continue to evolve both behind the decks and in the studio, captivating new generations of club-goers and moving across the ranks as an emerging talent.
