First recording in a decade! Finally finished a new techno track. Recorded with my trusty TR909 and the big analog synth was off the deepmind 6. Loved the minimal vibe and building up the tension in this track. Just needs mastering and I'll post full track.

Augmented Minds Sample

This recording came about after making a drone I really liked the sound of. There was so much modulation around the sound to morph it between the drone and a gentle plinky synth, so this track was spawned from the variations on that theme. Bit more laid back and intelligent than my usual stuff but hopefully it will be appreciated by fellow techno aficionados

Relentlessly building, full on acid techno madness! A clear nod to the old skool stay up forever sound, kept the breakdown as old skool as possible with the 909 claps. Really enjoyed thrashing the layers of 303 out with the trusty old DS1 distortion.

Driving acid, phat bass, phat 303s buckle up! Really enjoyed making this one, 303 through Boss DS1, pads and risers off deepmind, everything else VSTs. Wholesome analog goodness combined with lashings of digital crispiness for a full throttle mutated, hybrid variant of hard trance and acid techno! Or something...

A Future of Desolation (Original mix)

Driving hard trance with lashings of acid, and an uplifting melody in the main drop. Starts dark and sinister then goes to lighter uplifting sound. Inspiration drawn from my hard trance roots clearly! Good rinse out of the Mr Circuit Invader fuzz distortion, which the circuit was one I designed and built myself. This is the distortion used on all the 303 sounds in this track. Otherwise mostly digital VSTs in this like surge xt, UA lion, bx oberhausen for main lead, and DS thorn. Pad chords from analog poly-  deepmind 6 just in case you were interested!
