My My, Hey Hey

Anemoi is a project born from the union of Alessandro Cherici, Vincenzo Di Francesco and Matteo Pinna. We’ve always been brothers in music, but we’ve been separated by distances and circumstances. We founded this band with the desire of overcoming distances and of telling a story.
Anemoi is the name of the three mythological winds who blew over the Mediterranean Sea: Boreas, the northern wind, Zephyrus, the western wind, and Notus, the southern wind. The Latin turned the word into "animus, soul", as if all living beings were moved by their breath. It is a name that unites freedom, freshness and musicality. Letting yourself being carried by the wind is the best way to start a journey.
