Wax Evasion - No Giggity

Music was always a big part of Wax Evasion's* life, except during the "Silent Hum" era of Albert Reynold's terrible reign as King of Ireland in which music was banned for all except the noblemen and their wives. As a child, when all the other kids were out doing 'cool' stuff like playing soccer and meeting girls, Wax Evasion was out playing soccer and meeting girls, and not inside listening to his Mom's disco and swing records like some idiot little douchebag. After a brief stint as a jail-house rat, Wax Evasion turned his energy to DJing where he learned the ropes and rocked crowds of almost 20 casual drinkers at a time in the sidebars of clubs like Harpies and the Old Brogue, in the downtown area of Tuam. But music production was always his biggest love, apart from other things. He first started producing music in his teens using only a spoon and some Kettle Chips he would find out the back of a nearby factory in Tuam, Co. Galway and these early influences can be heard in his promo-only track* "Crisps being crushed with a spoon". Since then he has produced music for commercials (Pepsi, UNICEF, "Free Joey Barton" campaign) and for film (Cling Film, Film Itchell) but now he is concentrating on not from concentrate orange juice and what was I talking about.

*Note: Names have been changed to protect the privacy of Wax Evasion's children.... who are called Timothy and Janice Staunton, age 2 and 5 respectively, and who walk alone to Oakfield Elementary School on Jeffers St, Galway, Ireland Monday to Friday between 8.45 and 9.15 am.
