Once upon a time, or maybe in another universe, Urei Lazar was born. Or so the story goes. His music is genre-free, weird in the best way, and drenched in the mystery of outer space, UFOs, and the kind of alternate dimensions you’d find in a wild dream. Now he’s landing on Earth, or rather, on Apparel Tronic’s “White” catalogue, with his debut record on the label: Sightings. It’s a 5-track journey that’s part storytelling, part exploration of what "other" can sound like. Breakbeat grooves, glitchy textures, Leftfield vibes, and IDM brilliance all blend together as Urei Lazar shows us a glimpse of life from his imagined worlds.
