Our journey with Maur started in 2018 with the first demos they sent to the label. Then, in the spring of 2020, we looked at signing their anthemic melodic banger "Set Me Free". That one ended up on Sola, at the top of the Beatport charts, and hit over 10M streams. Since then, their music has been a staple in A-list DJ sets [Tita Lau, Claptone, Danny Howard, and many more] and has continued to be streamed by music fans worldwide. We've discussed some things, but nothing has been the right fit until now. "Say It Right" reworks the Nelly Furtado song with the help of Rose Moncado's killer vocals. The groove is superb, packed with energy and synthy goodness, and Maur's signature chords & arpeggios work brilliantly with the iconic topline. Mau P and Westend are already fans, road-testing it with raving results. Dive in; it's a banger.

I stumbled across this acapella a few months ago and absolutely fell in love with Danielle Ponder's voice. It was so compelling that it felt as if the universe was calling me to create a song with it, so I did. This track is an accumulation of everything I have learned about producing in the past year. I wrote it, mixed it and mastered it all myself (aside from the vocal obviously). It's not perfect but it's honest work and I'm proud of it. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it.

We love Curtis' original take on "Rich Girl". It has the same bass-fuelled minimal energy that we get from Paige Tomlinson's "Rocked It" and James View's "Party Time". That said, we wanted a version that we could play on big Ibizan stages or in the main room of our favourite London clubs, so we asked Kevin McKay to put on his "Work" hat (see what we did there?) and give us the kind of floor-smashing roller that would do the job. Never one to disappoint, he's delivered the brief to a tee. A chunky kick and cajon rhythm lead the way before a deep sub delivers some pumping groove for Tasty Lopez' killer delivery—a wee belter.
