Southside Chicago native, Angela Mosley has been establishing herself as a true, genuine professional.
Not wanting to be limited to a title or role, herelectrifying style covers a vast repertoire of projects across many fields. Music, one project which has always been her sanctuary since childhood, has evoked a personal journey in which her voice conveys the essence of her experiences to the audience.
Gaining her stripes in music when first asked to transcribe lyrics as a kid, she now shocks the crowd with her soulful, rambunctious voice and there is no
stopping her. She is graced with an amazing energy, a beautiful smile and an electrifying personality that places you in the company of one of the world’s
extraordinary woman. Angela Mosley loves what she does and will leave you wanting more in each unforgettable moment shared.
During a trip to Italy, Angela Mosley met a bunch of local musicians with an unexpected pedigree in American music and the musical encounter released a high amount of energy. A chemical reaction that occurs when mixing the appropriate ingredients with a tight bond of musical interest. The Blu Elements band members are all from the Terni (Italy) area and share a long membership in local bands with hundreds of live concerts through more than 20 years of activity.
As a band (under the name The Full Optional) they recorded two self produced albums that received good critical acclaim and led the band to recognition in national wide festivals. They also featured as a backup band for Lazy Lester and Hubert Sumlin and opened for Big Jack Johnson, Junior Watson and Gary Primich. The Blu Elements lineup is completed by competent and long time Jazz Sax player Lorenzo Fontana. Their band repertoire ranges from raucous
Chicago Blues standards to modern soul ballads, with an emphasis on Angela’s wide and deep vocal range.
