Young Nazareth has been a powerhouse in the Icelandic Hip Hop scene for the past decade, both as a producer and a DJ but mainly as a background figure in other artists’ careers.
Alongside his work in Iceland and Germany, Arnar has been crafting his own sound that tries to blur the lines between Hip Hop and dance music, drawing influences from his upbringing in Iceland, his current surroundings in Berlin as well as the UK’s Grime, Bass and UKG scenes.

This first volume in a series named ‘200 101’ will feature an exploration of the history of Icelandic Hip Hop through the sonics of dance music, where each track either samples or references Icelandic Hip Hop, making it a fitting segue from his work in Hip Hop towards his own dance-focused sound.

O piesă ambient / new age / electronic care explorează momentul în care vechea energie se dizolvă și apare o frecvență nouă.

Texturile atmosferice, sintetizatoarele eterice și pulsația subtilă creează o stare profund meditativă — ca o respirație cosmică ce te conduce spre renaștere interioară.

Această compoziție este inspirată de ideea că fiecare transformare începe în tăcere. În acel spațiu interior unde liniștea devine muzică, iar muzica devine energie.

The Healer’s Secret Rebirth

In spirit this picks up my solo electronic synthesis roots, where my first album “Moving Pictures” left off. This is where I started and in my heart I have never really left! 

All music performed live or live with overdub on an Elta Music Solar 42N and a Windows11 minibook. Music was rehearsed and each track was recorded as a single take other than any overdubs. Pieces performed full length; the fades are part of the live performances.

The Chuwi minibook runs a single instance of Native Instruments Kontakt for manually triggered clips created for the performances, and for additional percussion using Sonuscore’s Fragments. The output runs directly into the Solar for processing, with the main output coming from the Solar.
