If you’ve read any story coming out of Silicon Valley in the past few years, you might be familiar with the term unicorn in reference to a super-promising, hyped-up startup. With a valuation of $1 billion or more, unicorns are hailed as the holy grail, but research and some influential individuals have started to question the mindset.

In this episode of On Call we’ll explore why unicorns are such a big deal, how they can be misleading, and whether chasing unicorn status is really the right move for a healthcare company.
