Born in Catania in 1984, he graduated in horn in 2003 with full marks at the "V. Bellini" Institute of Musical Studies in Catania under the guidance of the teacher Antonino Manuli. 
He attended master classes with great masters including Alessio Allegrini, Stefan Dohr, Dale Clevenger, Luciano Giuliani, Hans Pizka, Michael Hoeltzel, Loris Antiga, Guido Corti, David Johnson, Jonathan Williams.
At 19 he as the best pupil of the Bellini Institute performed the Concerto Kv 412 for horn and orchestra by W.A.Mozart accompanied by the Orchestra of the Teatro Massimo V.Bellini in Catania.
In 2004 he obtained the professional qualification for Orchestra Professors at the Experimental Opera Theater of Spoleto with the highest score and in 2005 he studied in Germany at the Hochschule fur Musik in Freiburg under the guidance of Prof. Bruno Schneider.
At the age of 20 he won the audition for low horn at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan with which he collaborates for 4 years on an annual contract.
He won auditions and has collaborated with various opera and symphonic orchestras among the most representative in Italy and abroad including: Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Filarmonica della Scala, Cameristi della Scala, Teatro San Carlo in Naples , Petruzzelli di Bari, OSI Orchestra of Italian Switzerland, Orchestra of Padua and Veneto, Abruzzese Symphony Orchestra, Malaysian Philarmonich Orchestra, Human Right Orchestra
He has played under the direction of great conductors such as Georges Prètre, Daniel Barenboim, Lorin Maazel, Zubin Mehta, Pierre Boulez, Riccardo Chailly, Sir Anthony Pappano, Daniele Gatti, Gustavo Dudamel, Valery Gergiev, Kurt Masur, Semyon Bychkov, Sir Gardiner, Yury Temirkanov, Gianandrea Noseda, Fabio Luisi and many others.
He has participated in several tours in England, Ireland, Japan, Ghana and the USA playing in the most prestigious concert halls including Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Chiacago Symphony Center, Kimmel Center (Philadelphia), Bunka Kaikan (Tokyo), KKL of Lucerne and many others .
He was invited to take part in the concert of the "I Corni della Scala" ensemble at the Teatro alla Scala.
In December 2010 he was invited to participate in the competition for low horn at the Berlin Philharmonic and in October 2011 he was selected by the M° Zubin Metha at the auditions for the 2nd horn at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino resulting first winner.
Invited by Maestro Allegrini he was part of the Human Right Orchestra made up of elements of the Berliner Philarmoniker, Wiener Philarmoniker, London Symmphony, Concertgebouw Orchestra, Bayerischer Rundfunk and other orchestras at the KKL in Lucerne.
He was artistic director in 2011 and creator of the "Abreu" project called "Young People ... the other voice of music" funded by the Department of the Council of Ministers and by the ANCI, forming an orchestra of 60 children in difficult situations.
He has an intense chamber and solo activity in prestigious international festivals collaborating with artists such as Guglielmo Pellarin, Hervè Joulain, Miklòs Nagy, Giuliano Sommeraldher, Sextet Stradivari, etc.
He is the founder of the Sicilian Horn Ensemble.
In 2018 he was appointed by the prestigious IHS (International Horn Society) Italian representative.
He currently collaborates as a third horn at the Massimo V. Bellini Theater in Catania and is a professor of the Horn at the V. Bellini Conservatory in Catania.
