Trikk is a Portuguese electronic musician based in London. His music has been released by a number of different labels, which include Terrain Ahead, Con+ainer Music, ManMakeMusic, and Pets Recordings. Now the Londoner is set to release a new two-tracker on Berlin imprint Lossless dubbed the Internacional EP. Today we’re premiering the ‘Black Version’ of its main track Proto-Rhyt.

Foam presents a large solo exhibition #SafePassage by the renowned Chinese artist and activist Ai Weiwei (1957, China). The exhibition deals with the fate of the individual versus the overruling systems of society, switching from Ai Weiwei’s personal experiences as a refugee of the Chinese Government, to the hundreds of thousands refugees and migrants who risked their lives to reach Europe, only to find their path barred by a succession of border closures.

Especially for the annual museum night Foam asked Amsterdam producer Parrish Smith to make an audio experience to coincide with #SafePassage. During the soundscape you are led through the exhibition by the use of 20 electronic audio tracks. Parrish Smith believes electronic music is both for the body and the mind. Inspired by personal experiences and his determination to keep evolving, Smith developed a distinctive sound derived from an all-analogue set-up, sampling every object that produces sound.

#SafePassage is on show at Foam in Amsterdam until Wednesday, 7 December 2016.

Following on from stellar releases for the lieks Moda Black, Pets Recordings, W&O Street Tracks, and most recently Dirtybird, Brooklyn based duo Walker & Royce debut on Amber Muse. The tune is called “Fetish” and it's dropping on on Dec 16th via the Latvian based label. It comes strapped with remixes from Taran & Lomov, Josh Brown and Firejosé. The original mix, which you can hear in full exclusively on When We Dip today, offer up an eery four-to-the-floor dinger, where a sleek, solid groove mets a brash, hypnotic lead. Vivian is a Berlin based musician who joins rough pieces of 80's wave and atmospheric electro which can't be subjected to any exact definition. With her musical knowledge and gained sense of dark and thrilling records combined with dirty acid Vivian is creating her own style of electronic music.
After djing for some years and getting experiences in a booking agency its time for additional steps. One of these we can follow from 2017 where she's going to create her own party series in Berlin and Thuringia to support the electronic music scene in her home area, the east of Germany. We are looking forward how Vivian will caught attention through several projects in further time.

We welcome the new year with this week's new mix from Eindkrak, a multi talented Dutch artist living in Amsterdam.
 He studies mathematics and physics, sings in a choir and plays classical guitar, but at the same time he is really into experimental electronics that is based on improvisation. Most people might have not heard of him yet but now it's time to pay attention.
As Eindkrak, he has released on Unknown Precept​, and he is preparing a second release for this label as well. He also plays in a duo with Toni Quiroga​ as Raum Zeit, they have a tape on AMOK Tapes​, releasing on Veleno Viola and Sign Bit Zero​.
In this mix there are also two tracks of a collaboration with Maoupa Mazzocchetti​. Most of the tracks in this mix are made by friends with a similar music taste and lots of Eindkrak and Raum Zeit material. Some tracks you will hear on releases at some point and some maybe never.
