Bringing deep ambiences and ethereal vocals as background for huge groovy beats and noisy granular synths, VINÍ is back with his new EP: "DRAGON 龍", for D1S ASIA. 
Almost subconsciously, VINÍ explores subtle connections between Brazil and China, making it sound as if the energy of street bailes in São Paulo periphery meets the night lights of Shenzhen. 
Under strong influence from names like Zomby and Clams Casino, his sounds are heading in a promising direction, something that already sounds like a "cloud baile", or something like. Yes, cloud baile!

“krypt. vol2 is the second instalment of my ‘krypt’ EP series. It’s a mixtape-like EP, named after a ‘crypt’ (underground vault holding the remains of a person); in this case it’s my musical vault with several new + old tracks I’ve had in my unreleased catalogue. It touches various genres like the previous one, from garage stuff to a bit faster house, to slowed down nu-disco. I rarely get inspired by current music, most of the time I’m listening to records at least 15-20 years old but wondering how they would sound if they were made today.

The EP also features two songs (Never Enough, L.U.V.) with my own lead vocals, which a first for my releases thus far. I really enjoy making longer music projects which is why I’ve always gravitated towards LPs and albums, as a producer and a listener. It allows you to dive in a bit deeper in the mind of the creator and see where their emotions lie across a longer body of work. A single often doesn’t have enough power to allow you to see behind the curtain.”

The Italian producer first started making beats on his Playstation at the age of 12, and year after year his polished productions have caught the ear of tastemakers across the globe.

Angelo Ferreri was born in Sicily in 1984.

As a producer, he has been active since 2004 under the nickname of 'Alkaline' and 'Angelo Elettronico', with productions that are always part of his growth as a musician.

In 2010 he immediately started to attract the attention of several others labels with a different kind of music, it was then, that the name of 'Angelo Ferreri' started to be well known all over the world.

Now he has established his exciting Funky-Tech-House style with successful countless releases on Nervous, Soulfuric, Mood Funk Records, Glasgow Underground..
