Cordobesian violinist, arranger, composer, known for her work with several musicians bands and institutions such as the Global Jazz Institute, Jazz and Gender Justice Institute, Kris Davis, John Patitucci, Jesus Molina, Litha 5tet, Ángela Varo Quartet, and Henry Threadgill’s  Bakers Dozen. Born in the birthplace of flamenco, is a jazz fusion musician who stands up with her performances and compositions. Her passion for music and hard work has made her play concerts in Spain, Italy, Romania, Sweden, Malta, Panama, United States of America...
						
Ángela is the first violinist from Andalusia who has won the prestigious ''World Wide'' total tuition scholarship from Berklee College of music; the youngest musician who won the national scholarship ''Amigos de Ramón Bilbao'', and the first winner in the cultural category of the ''Salvador de Prado'' foundation prize. In 2019 she won her last scholarship as a composer with the SGAE Foundation. In 2020 and 2021 she is awarded the prestigious Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation Scholarship and in July 2021 she is awarded the High-Performance Scholarship of the Spanish National Instrumentalists Association. She is the first Andalusian Musician and the first Spanish Violinist in being admitted to the prestigious jazz institutes of the Global Jazz Institute and the Jazz and Gender and Justice institute, directed respectively by Grammy winners Danilo Perez and Terri Lyne Carrington. Currently, she is a Dean's List Student at Berklee College of Music where she majors in the double degree of Contemporary Writing and Production and jazz performance and a minor in Theory of Jazz and Popular Music. She is the founder, manager, organizer, and main educator at the International Music Courses ''Giant Steps'' in Baena, Spain. She is Part of the latest project of saxophonist, composer and Pulitzer Price winner Henry Threadgill, ‘’Bakers Dozen’’.
