The first snippet of the second idea I had for a song for this incredible project I'm working on.

I have been so moved by the recent episodes of Star Wars that I've decided to write an album from, for, and about that universe.  I hope you'll join me on this adventure!  

This is the first bit of melody/lyric that I had when I was thinking about Rey and her struggle of being alone on Jakku.  I myself am currently in a living situation where I'm dealing with a lot of frustrations, including lack of income, and I was reminding myself "this is only temporary" when I was struck with this idea about Rey using that to soothe herself while always silently wishing for the return of her parents:

I keep saying it's temporary, I know you will be back
I keep wearing my hair like this for you

I'm not sure where this song will go or if it will even make the final album, but I do know that I've tapped into something very exciting for me creatively, and I can't wait to dig deeper.
