- PR: How many years have you been dj-ing and producing? 
JP: I liked the music since the early age but from 15 I started getting into the DJ-ing world more seriously. As for the production - I started much later, over three years ago.
- PR: 3 Djs you currently admire? 
JP: It's a lot of them right now for my type of music that i like  So I can not go with just three plus each genre has many good names. I would admit Nicolas Jaar though, great talent, always very inspiring with what he does. I can also say that here in Argentina there are many very good emerging producers, too.
- PR: Top 3 labels you constantly following? 
JP: Also it's very difficult to name only three, I think there is a lot of good music coming from many emerging labels with all of the great producers on them. Here are several where I always find very good music eg: SERKAL, INNOCENT, TIP TAP, YORUBA, BAILE MUSIK, P.U.N.C.H.I.S . . etc etc etc. .

- PR: Dream gig you would like to play? 
JP: Maybe somewhere in NY, I do not know. I've never thought of it that way really. I think the important thing for a great night is good people, good sound and good vibes. If these conditions are met - any place is good to play music.
- PR: Best(most memorable) party to date you've been to?
JP: I have great memories of a project that we carry out with two friends, in the city of La Plata - Buenos Aires (where I was born). It was a short cycle, but very nice to us, in an abandoned house. There were three parties under the name of "Underground House" that were totally amazing.
- PR: Any hobbies outside of the music world? 
JP: Well I am also a Graphic Designer, are my two most pleasurable activities (music and design).

Poker Flat continue their welcome foray into vinyl-only releases - following Kindimmer's
fine Wax Substance EP - with four deep morsels from Pavel Iudin (or Paul Yudin, as he's occasionally known in anglophone circles.) Now respected resident at St. Petersburg's Stackenschneider club, Iudin has developed a real feel for deep, dubby dancefloor-oriented tech house. And Waxology is no exception.

The title track is a luxurious meditation - layered, thoughtful with subtle builds and shifts. This is precision-engineered deep house, finetuned to send you into head-nodding ecstasy.

A 'Tokamak' - for those who don't know - is a kind of experimental, Russian doughnut designed to confine plasma for nuclear fusion. In other words, it's futuristic, profound and utterly enveloping - which is exactly what Iudin delivers on this circling, bubbling groove.

Meanwhile, the dubby foundation of 'Anchor' is contrasted by echoing chimes, crisp percussion and shimmering timbres that whizz in and out of earshot, while 'Charmel' is deeper still, a booming kick married to a sinuous bassline to fashion a heavy dancefloor stomper.

Across the board, this is unflashy and highly focused stuff whose booming depth and spacious production comes to life in vinyl form.

That’s how Angelica describes her self as a DJ. Never afraid of that bass, her a motive musical selections are her own therapy. Having grow up with her mother’s electric combination of Disco music (Donna Summer, Michael Jackson, Bee Gees, ABBA, Prince) 70s soft Rock (Seals & Crofts, Ambrosia, The Carpenters, Eagles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd ) Synth - infused 80s music (Depeche Mode, Gary Numan) very inspired by listening to her mother sing and play the guitar to all different types of Pasillos, and national Latin American music as well ... all which became infused for her own love for house music, Classic Rock, Trip Hop, Rock en Español, Angelica ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where she picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music she loves best: bass lines, vocal hooks.. all on top of a pronounced minimal micro house beat.
Born In New York Queens, raised in Miami her background from South America. Very active member of her local community back at her hometown Cuenca - Ecuador, Angelica is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a small town music scene. Thought she loves playing in nightclubs, patios and special events, her love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. As a dancer for all rhythms and promoter, she has found plenty of ways to express her self musically.
“For me, it’s all about mood and minimal deep, house sounds, hypnotic groove... playing those tracks that get you tapping your feet and nodding your head without you realizing it.”
