ANGLE is an audiovisual project, realised by Piero Fragola and Thomas Pizzinga, that applies the videomapping technique to a self-supporting structure for its live set.
The tracks composed by the duo are a mix between techno and electronic music.

Piero Fragola, former We Love (produced by Bpitch Control, Berlin), is professor at LABA (Libera Accademia di Belle Arti) and IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) in Florence, and is also the official designer for Tiptop Audio musical instruments (Silicon Valley, California, USA). 

Thomas Pizzinga, graduated at LABA in Florence, videomaker and founder of Elephant Studio, share his passion for electronic music and live shows.

The use of modular synthesizers allowed the duo to explore the sound and the songwriting at the roots of the creative process, while their previous works in the field of digital visual arts became the needful humus for the genesis of the project.

The structure is a modular isostatic system, made of aluminum pipes with junctions at their vertices, whose surface is covered by a fireproof sheet for screenings.
Despite the visual clutter is 4,50m x 3,20m, its elements (aluminum pipes and sheet) are easily transportable by airplane, too.

The last step of ANGLE's live set, called Tetra02, included RGB LED strips, controlled by Arduino, on the main elements of the structure, in order to make the lights interact with the videos in a definitely inedited way.

ANGLE already performed at several international festivals, such as Mira Festival (Barcelona), Club2Club (Turin), Nextech (Florence), GreenTech (Pisa), Streamfest (Lecce). Among the clubs: Cocoricò (Riccione), Tenax (Firenze),  LIV (Bassano del Grappa).

The debut record by ANGLE is the track "FM", released with the tracks of international artists such as Blawan, Surgeon, Kink, Drumcell and Richard Devine, on the first compilation of Tiptop Audio Records label, that ANGLE curates as artistic direction.

ANGLE è un progetto audiovisivo, realizzato da Piero Fragola e Thomas Pizzinga, che applica la tecnica del videomapping su di una struttura autoportante per i propri live set.
I brani composti dal duo oscillano fra musica techno ed elettronica.

Piero Fragola, ex We Love (prodotto da Bpitch Control, Berlino), è docente presso LABA (Libera Accademia di Belle Arti) e IED (Istituto Europeo del Design) di Firenze, nonché designer ufficiale dell'azienda di strumenti musicali Tiptop Audio (Silicon Valley, California, USA). 

Thomas Pizzinga, laureato alla LABA di Firenze, videomaker e fondatore di Elephant Studio, condivide la passione per la musica elettronica e per i live show.

L'uso dei sintetizzatori modulari ha permesso al duo di esplorare il suono e il songwriting all'origine del processo creativo, mentre i loro precedenti lavori nell'ambito delle arti visive digitali hanno costituito l'humus necessario per la genesi del progetto.

La struttura è un sistema isostatico modulare, costituito da tubi in alluminio con snodi nei vertici, la cui superficie esterna viene rivestita da un telo ignifugo per proiezioni.
Nonostante l'ingombro visivo sia di 4,50m x 3,20m i suoi elementi (tubi in alluminio e telo) sono facilmente trasportabili anche in aereo.

L’ultima fase del live set di ANGLE, denominato Tetra02, include strisce LED RGB, controllate tramite Arduino, sugli elementi portanti della struttura, per fare interagire le luci con i video in modo assolutamente inedito.

ANGLE può annoverare una serie di spettacoli presso festival internazionali, come Mira Festival (Barcellona), Club2Club (Torino), Nextech (Firenze), GreenTech (Pisa), Streamfest (Lecce). Tra i club: Cocoricò (Riccione), Tenax (Firenze), LIV (Bassano del Grappa).
