Persia Americana got its band name from the scientific name of avocado fruit. The founding members of the band were Bryan Fritz Dal, Nelson Abarrientos, Matheron Llido and Gagaren Cruz. They were all agriculture students from Central Mindanao University. The band were heavily influenced by the funk rock genre of Red Hot Chilli Peppers and played most of their popular songs. The band went to play several genres including alternative, reggae, grunge, rap metal, nu-metal and heavy metal covers. Those musical influences commenced to the fusion of those genre into their original music especially on Bryan’s creative writing.

The band have changed a lot since their early funk rock to nu-metal days and its pretty great to see how big Persia Americana have gotten throughout the years. It was through then Manager of Chardys Bar & Grill - Peter  Guasa (a good friend of Bryan and a 90’s music affecionado) that made the band in 2004, a regular performer every Wednesday at the bar playing variety of covers. From 2005- 2007, they went on to become the best reggae band in Bukidnon and became a household name in bars around the province. After years inactive from the band scene, Bryan is more excited about Persia Americana’s future and believes that they could explode in 2021. Pairing with Ange Moralde, a very talented musician and recording enthusiast, Bryan and Ange started arranging and re-writing old materials that Bryan had co-written with Felmar Sol and some music contributions of Nelson Abarrientos.    The very first single “She” that the band have released as demo with Rommel Valdez contributing on bass sound amazing and thus far have been meet with good reviews.   Persia Americana had endured dormancy and obscurity after multiple member changes that led to 11 drummers, 6 bassists and 2 lead guitarists replacements. The band now comprises the sole founding member left Bryan Fritz Dal along with lead guitarist Ange Moralde, rhythm guitarist Jason Llido, Bassist Kevin “Donmc Bazzman” Namuag and drummer Kirtong Kisteria.  Bukidnon fanbase watched them grow up, reinvent themselves and come into their own as musicians dedicated to creating original music.
