<p>Vinz Exe returns to Globox with the total old-school vibes of &#8220;My Soul&#8221;, where persistent chords intertwine with arpeggiating synths, and retro strings bring back memories of the good old days. The Vegim remix of &#8220;Coyote&#8221; toughens things up quite a bit as it focuses on the percussion-led rhythm section whilst retaining some of the original&#8217;s melodic elements. Closing up, the subliminal approach of original mix is reinforced by eerie phrases and cavernous effects, while shadowy electronics work in the background.</p>

@GND-Records sets out there 100th milestone release with a vinyl and digital remix package after racking up music from the likes of Matrixxman, Mark Broom, The Hacker and Shadow Dancer amongst many others.

This time four new cuts from the GND family sees Mark Broom, Ben Long (of Space DJz) reworking originals from the label boss himself, @S-File.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the remix by German brothers @Turbo_Turbo who are regulars on the label and always bring the heat. Their remix of Digital Disorder is chunky and driving with some killer chords making it shine.

Ling Ling - 胸にこたえる

Privacy’s 'Work' invokes '80s Chicago ghetto house and the sounds of early Muzique and Dancemania – most notably Steve Poindexter’s ‘Work That Mother Fucka’ which is sampled heavily throughout.  A high energy track that sits around 130bpm, Privacy's repeating sample of "work, work" sits atop jackin’ TR-808 kicks and claps before a crunchy 303 bassline fills out the lower register. Hectic tom-drum work picks up the pace of the tune before the vocal breaks down into the full Poindexter sample. A well executed modern homage to a classic sound that clearly demarcates its references, this one's set to put the work in on dancefloors far and wide.

Retune Music began as a small production company, hosting international artists in events that played an important role in developing the electronic music culture of Honduras and Central America. With a toe in sounds anywhere from Techno to House.

The thirtieth release is from USA’s Billy Johnston who has been known for contributions to labels like Hans Bouffmyhre’s Sleaze, Xpansul’s True Type Tracks, BluFin, ECI Korea and collaborating with Gennaro Mastrantonio on many occasions. Featuring on remix duty Xpansul brings some dirty analogue funk and Alexi Delano opts for some deep, lush melodies.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the digital exclusive track “Peak Wheel” that certainly coincides with it’s title. The pounding beat is meant for only one thing and that’s dancefloor destruction, where the real spark of energy comes from the rolling, gothic sounding hook. Powerful and twisted, it’s only natural to succumb to this untamed beast.

Longtime friends Mark Fanciulli and Rob Cockerton have teamed together on 'Slave to the Rave', a raw and nostalgic tune that fills all the satisfactions of 80s Chicago while still being a clean and modern dance floor chop. With the beloved Honey Dijon on remixing duties, the Play It Say It release has received an acidic remake, an intense mixture of hedonistic and dark aural pleasure.

Round two from the VOLPHONIE stable in Paris follows a powerhouse debut that was been backed by Mixmag with it’s Marcel Fengler remix, and topped sales charts as they once again show how to put together another revered package of DJ friendly beats and great depth in production, curated by label boss and Rex Club resident Chris Honorat.

Blicz supplies three original works on his Mineral EP that solidifies his hype as a super talented creator. Contributing with a wide variety of remixes are Barcelona based Flug, Andre Kronert in Germany and Drafted from Italy.

For this DT:Premiere we were blown away by the “2nd Story” remix from Andre Kronert that focuses on a thick, groove-fuelled rhythm at its heart. A phat synth growls with authority, demanding attention with an empirical sound, like something straight out of a science fiction score… absolutely glorious.
