Crypt of the NecroDancer: MEGAMIXED is a remix (or remash) album dedicated to the amazing producers of the Crypt of the NecroDancer Soundtrack! 

Each and every song of COTND (well, except for some bosses and Amplified) has been carefully remixed and remastered by 6 music artists or groups: A_Rival, FamilyJules7x, Virt, Chipzel, Girlfriend Records, and Overclocked Records: each with their own individual styles and genres. 

Crypt of the NecroDancer: MEGAMIXED combines all 7 soundtracks of the game into one seamless piece of music by playing each remix at specific times. For example, Virt and Chipzel both use a chiptune approach to the soundtrack, so they will appear together very often.

Fungal Funk (2-1) MEGAMIX

"Knight to C-Sharp" was a great piece to remix, based on the different styles and rhythms employed by different remix artists for this composition. 

I've essentially looped the song four times to capture the overall works of all 7 remix artists. The first loop includes A_Rival's and FamilyJules7x's EDM and metal covers respectively, which bring out the melody clearly throughout the piece. The second loop includes the Girlfriend Records and Overclocked Records remixes, which follow a very similar 4/4 beat system that worked well in this mash. The third loop features the chiptune artists, Virt and Chipzel, which also worked well with bass instruments and drumbeats. And the final loop is just every remix on top of each other.

Knight to C-Sharp (Deep Blues) MEGAMIX

Of all the zones, I think the Amplified soundtrack is the most creative and fitting of the environment of the levels (electro? electricity? get it?)

Voltzwaltz was remixed very well by A_Rival and FamilyJules7x. However, the Amplified soundtrack was not remixed by Chipzel, and Virt's Amplified soundtrack hasn't been released yet. As for now, I used the 5 soundtracks that did include the Amplified songs to create these MegaMashes.
