The site managers hate em, but the dancers love em! You may know what I'm talking about if you are a fan of their events, sets & radio slots under the brand 'Whatevers' (Whatevers Radio (Base FM) along with Badger and nite nurse.  

With each of these DJ's spending almost or over a decade dancing, DJing & observing music culture, it's no surprise they are some of the best club DJ's in NZ. 

An amazing closing set was had at our last B2BO event (Whammy Bar) where they went back to back for two hours playing a very similar vibe to what they have so kindly produced here in this mix.

'BAD BITCH' is NILLY's ode to the women in his life. A track characterised by it's classic house feel synonymous with 'Show Me Love' by Robin S.  The production includes the use of the legendary TR -909 and KORG M1. NILLY artfully utilises their drums, piano, organ bass and strings married with a timeless Master of Works sample immortalised by Vogue House. It locks you in a time capsule taking you back to the dance-floors of the 1990s whilst simultaneously keeping it current with contemporary female rap icon Cardi B on the hook and verse sampled from her single 'Hot Shit' featuring Kanye West and Lil' Durk. With new artists like Beyonce releasing 'Break My Soul' one can only hope to see a reemergence of this sound again in the modern era!
