ANIMA dalam bahasa Latin berarti jiwA ini sarat dengan cinta. Anima yang juga merupakan kependekan dari Anak seNI berliMA, sebuah band asal Bandung yang berformasikan: Rio(vokal), Eldy (bass), Armin (Keyborard), Ophe (Guitar), Caesar(Drum)
    Terbentuk pada 4 Januari 2003, Awalnya animA bergulat dalam belantara musik tanah air melalui jalur label indie (2005). Melalui debut album berjudul Bintang, perlahan tapi pasti animA merebut perhatian pencinta musik Indonesia . musik pop easy listening yang diistilahkan oleh Anima sebagai innocent pop. Dipadu dengan unsur akustik-elektrik dalam komposisi musiknya, lagu-lagu Anima emang seru didenger di segala suasana.Kuncinya ada pada progresi kord dan harmonisasi yang tidak rumit, lirik yang universal, sehingga dapat dinikmati oleh siapa saja dari berbagai usia.
    Dua tahun lebih Anima berkecimpung di jalur indie ( 2005 -2007 ), animA pun sejak tahun 2007 berkesempatan gabung dengan SONY Music Indonesia sampai dengan 2011.Dan akhirnya sekarang bergabung dengan SEVEN MUSIC.
    Anima akan konsisten dalam berkarya dan bekerja keras sehingga mampu eksis di tengah persaingan ketat band-band tanah air
